If you're interested in a formal MBA program, once you’ve successfully completed the course and are accepted into the UCR A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Business MBA Program, you'll be eligible to receive a $5,000 scholarship to be used towards your MBA.

Joan Branin, MBA, PhDJoan has over 30 years of corporate finance and bank management experience in Los Angeles and Chicago. She was Head of Chase Manhattan Private Investment Bank (Los Angeles) and Manager of Standard Chartered Bank's Corporate and International Office (Chicago) where she was involved in financing corporate acquisitions, funding leveraged buyouts, and arranging and managing loan syndications. She currently has an insurance practice specializing in Medicare and long-term care insurance for individuals. Joan has served in board positions with nonprofits in healthcare, aging and longevity, and art and history museums in Southern California and Chicago. She earned an MBA in Finance from UCLA and a PhD from Claremont Graduate University.

Stephen Fritzenkotter, MBASteve is the Managing General Partner at Focus Marketing Partners, an internet marketing firm and has an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. Prior to working at Focus, he was an acting consultant on marketing and market research for companies such as MilliCare Environmental Services and Burlington Industries.
For 13 years, Steve had served as a business instructor and course developer at UCR University Extension and UCI Extended Learning programs. In addition, in 2017 he received the Distinguished Instructor award for UC Irvine DCE. |
Shawntia Key, Ed.DDr. Shawntia Key has over 10 years of experience in international education with professional expertise in higher education management, student advising and leadership development, intercultural management, strategic planning, teaching and training, and curriculum and program development. Dr. Key received a Doctorate in higher education management with her dissertation focusing on Black American Undergraduates Studying Abroad: What Are Their Intentions and Behaviors? Dr. Key also has a Master of Arts in international education, a Bachelor of Arts in international studies, and a TESOL certificate. She was the first in her family to attend college, has traveled to over 13 different countries, and is CEO of URep Abroad and HomeTrav.

Jo Lynne Russo-Pereyra, M.P.A SHRM-SCPJo Lynne Russo-Pereyra's has over 30 years of experience serving on executive teams and managing high-performance teams. She currently serves as an Organizational Leadership Coach for a boutique leadership development company. She is a Senior Certified Professional (SCP) with SHRM and is also a Certified Everything DiSC Workplace Facilitator. Jo Lynne has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in political science and sociology and received her Master of Arts degree in public policy and administration from Columbia University in New York City. She was selected as a recipient of the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship Program where she completed coursework in public policy at the University of Washington, Seattle and Harvard University, Cambridge.

Dr. Nidhi Shah, PhD, MBADr. Nidhi Shah has over 25 years of experience in teaching around the globe. She is currently a business instructor at UCR, adjunct faculty at La Sierra University Zapara School of Business, and faculty at University of Riverside. In last five years, she has taught 26 Business Management courses in three Universities. She is a management consultant and does one-on-one programs for clients, companies, and mentoring for students. In 2020 and 2021, she has earned six certifications in business management courses and Riipen Project Certification for GenWell Project.
