Executive AdministratorMetaRose Josue serves as an executive thought partner driving process improvements and organizational health as an executive administrator and founding steering committee member of Women in VR at the Reality Labs at Meta.
In her role, she led a cross-functional team to execute the Quest II launch celebration with contribution from the Meta CTO and CEO Mark Zuckerberg, created content and drove strategic internal communication programming on behalf of the head of VR Product Management, and helped scale strategic implementation of critical product review decision-making operations for the most successful VR device on the market. With a background in non-profit mission-driven organizing and performing arts, Rose has directed successful theater productions including the Filipina Women's Network production of The Vagina Monologues at Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, and a local production of the Broadway hit musical Aladdin with California-based arts non-profit Starting Arts. She also facilitated transformative workshops and art events for sexual abuse survivors as COO of Create Social Change. She currently serves as a founding board member of Plethos Productions, for which she has written and directed sold out immersive theater productions for two consecutive years. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Rose studied psychology and criminal justice at San Francisco State University with enrichment education from Oxford University. |
